The village of Boliqueime is a typical country village with some beautiful old buildings and one or two very good, inexpensive traditional restaurants. The heart of Boliqueime is the attractive church square where the annual Festa is held.From the square, winding,narrow,streets lead to the outlying rural areas.Quinta da Eira are in around the village.Its central location is perfect,just a short drive from the EN125 and the IP1 for easy access to both Faro to the East and Portimao to the West.Boliqueime is close to many lovely beaches such as Falsia, balaia and Olhos de Agua and yet surrounded by beautiful, unspoilt countryside.Wild flowers and wildlife abound and there is plenty to explore.There are many traditional markets and interesting shops.
